For children's author Tricia Winten, Meet Henry the Dinosaur is one of those stories. Henry's journey began over 40 years ago, when Tricia first imagined a lovable little dinosaur and brought his story to life through her own drawings.

She even had the opportunity to share her original, hand-illustrated story with a class of children at Cunningham Elementary School in Aurora, Colorado — the very elementary school she once attended. The children loved Henry, and the experience became a special memory.

Although over 40 years have passed, Henry's original story has remained exactly as Tricia imagined it. Today, that little dinosaur is finally making his way into the world as a published children's book!

Tricia believes children's books should do more than entertain. They should spark imagination, encourage curiosity, inspire kindness, and make learning fun. With Henry and his friends, Sam the turtle and Frank the shark, she hopes to create stories and activities that children will enjoy reading, exploring, and sharing.
